We are asking all registrants to submit one video of them playing a chromatic scale and the selected excerpt below.

 

These video submissions DO NOT determine if you are accepted into the Elevating Flutistry Intensive. If you submitted a registration form and payment, you’re accepted. This video submission is simply a way for us to ensure that we place flutists into appropriate chamber ensembles and flute choir sections.

 

This is a very low-pressure recording. We want to hear where you’re at in your flute journey. We do not need to hear the most “perfect” or “polished” take to know where you’re at, so please don’t stress.

 

Submission Suggestions:

• Feel free to record your video on any device that you have available! Your phone works well!

• Please upload your video to YouTube (you will need a Google account) and mark the video as “Unlisted.” This will ensure that your video can be viewed by us, but won’t be found by others.

• Copy & paste your YouTube video link into your registration form submission at the time of submission.
